Hidada Go-Live with SAP’s Cloud for Customer
Hidada’s business expansion needs to be followed up by adequate technology through which management can effectively respond to the dynamically changing market situation. After careful consideration of an existing IT offering on the market, Hidada decided to use SAP’s Cloud for Customer solution to flexibly respond to the challenges that they face in the international business.
Hidada secures Kuwait International Airport contract from Limak
A $4.3bn construction contract was awarded to Turkish company Limak, making it the biggest tender awarded abroad in a single package by Turkish contractors. Limak has awarded a USTA package to Hidada. Work involves procurement, fabrication, surface treatment and delivery to site for the package. The contract will add to Hidada objective in penetrating MENA region and successful selling of products with increase the market share.
Hidada secures Alba Line 6 Expansion Modules from Bechtel
Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based leading international aluminium smelter, is pleased to announce International Bechtel Co. Ltd. (Bechtel) as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) contractor for its landmark Line 6 Expansion Project.
Bechtel has awarded Hidada a subcontract for fabrication, painting, delivery to laydown area, assembly of modules. Hidada will supply all materials to the designated laydown area will be responsible for Preassembly modules 18 meters long. Modules shall include the steel frame, purlins, crane girders, cladding, electrical items and maximum possible modularization.
